2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (AA) Public Affairs

Soldiers assigned to the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team “Strike”, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) execute a simulated mass casualty (MASCAL) training exercise on Jan. 25, 2023, in Romania. The MASCAL trains and tests a unit’s ability to provide medical care for a large number of casualties, which might exceed the current logistical or medical capacity, in a short period of time. 101st units will support V Corps mission to reinforce NATO’s eastern flank and engage in multinational exercises with partners across the European continent to reassure our Nations allies.
