JSC2000-01946 (7 March 2000) --- Astronaut Susan J. Helms, mission specialist, prepares to participate in a training exercise in the Systems Integration Facility at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Moments later, Helms and her six STS-101 crewmates were in the nearby Crew Compartment Trainer (CCT-2) to rehearse shuttle vertical-mode emergency egress procedures.
