U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), are tested in their ability to tie a several knots during the Assault Climbers Course led by instructors assigned to II Marine Expeditionary Force Expeditionary Operations Training Group at Stone Bay, North Carolina, Jan. 19, 2023. Knot tying is an essential part of the Assault Climbers Course as they are used in many different forms of climbing and rappelling.
