U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), are tested on their knot tying during the Assault Climbers Course led by instructors with Expeditionary Operations Training Group at Stone Bay, North Carolina, Jan. 19, 2023. The Assault Climbers Course is a 5-week course that consists of mountaineering, multi-pitch climbs, rope installations, knot typing, and rappelling.
