SOUTH CHINA SEA (Jan. 5, 2023) – A U.S. Marine with Maritime Raid Force, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, loads a magazine into his M4 carbine during a deck shoot aboard amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), Jan. 5. A force in readiness, the 13th MEU trains in weapons marksmanship to rapidly respond to crises across all domains. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
