A Coast Guard Cutter Benjamin Dailey crew member launched from Coast Guard Cutter Jacob Poroo, a 154-foot fast response cutter homeported in Pascagoula, Mississippi, surveys fish illegally caught by a Mexican lancha crew approximately 26 miles off the southern Texas coast, Dec. 29, 2022. All told, Coast Guard crews interdicted five lanchas, seized 590 pounds of red snapper and transferred 22 Mexican fishermen to Customs and Border Protection agents for further processing.
