U.S. Marines conduct their pistol qualification as part of the Marine Corps Marksmanship Competition Far East and will leave the competition with both pistol and rifle qualifications for the year on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 7, 2022. MCMCFE was a two-week competition that was open to Marines and Naval personnel to enhance combat marksmanship proficiency through intensive training. The participants were instructed by members of the Marine Corps Shooting Team in order to compete for the individual medals and team marksmanship awards. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
