A U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 (VMGR-252) flies in formation with two USMC MV-22 Ospreys assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 266 over Eastern Africa Dec. 26, 2022, during routine flight operations within Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) area of responsibility (AOR). VMGR-252 is deployed from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, and supports CJTF-HOA by providing aerial refueling, airdrop and rescue capabilities to the AOR.
