A U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules crew chief assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 (VMGR-252) prepares a KC-130J for start up at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Dec. 26, 2022, before routine flight operations within Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa area of responsibility (AOR). VMGR-252 is deployed from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, and supports the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa by providing aerial refueling, airdrop and rescue capabilities to the AOR.
