AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force remains dedicated to its fight against the growing fentanyl crisis plaguing Texas communities and Americans nationwide by partnering with federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies through public service announcements and the Texas Counterdrug’s Drug Demand Reduction Outreach programs. In response to a 2022 spike in overdose deaths in children, teenagers and adults in the central Texas area, this infographic was produced to disperse to communities, organizations, school districts and law enforcement programs in order to spread awareness of the extreme lethality of illicit fentanyl and its prevalence in other illicit and counterfeit drugs.
