Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Forward Command Element (FCE) setup a satellite at a location in Savannah, Georgia, Dec. 13, 2022. The 26th MEU FCE traveled as part of Marine Expeditionary Exercise (MEUEX) I to simulate the establishment of a forward command. The focus of MEUEX I was to plan, brief, and execute several missions using the rapid response planning process in preparation for deployment alongside the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group.
