U.S. Sailors eat a meal on the mess decks aboard the Nimitz class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) during the first meal served aboard the ship since beginning its docking planned incremental availability (DPIA) in August 2021. Theodore Roosevelt is currently completing a DPIA at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility where the ship is receiving scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
