U.S. Air Force Airmen from 47th Security Forces Squadron and 47th Medical Group gather around a pallet to understand how squads operate when moving during Operation Handshake on Dec. 9, 2022, at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. Operation Handshake is a training mission between the 47th SFS and 47th MDG, where the different groups showed off aspects of their jobs that would be useful while deployed. Airmen from the 47th SFS showed medical personnel how to move as a squad while on deployment, to include proper spacing between troops and how specialty personnel should be placed in the squad. This allows for medical airmen to understand how to react to orders even if nonverbal commands are given. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Nicholas Larsen)
