536th Maint. Co. Soldiers make security vehicles more secure

Huntsville, Ala., native Spc. Paulo Young, a welder with the 4th Infantry Division who currently works with the 536th Maint. Co., cuts metal that will be used to make fire suppression steps for the MRAP. The fire suppression system is attached in the open on the floor right below the gunner's platform and the Soldiers in the company created a cover in order to help prevent damage to it. Young has been working with the 536th Maint. Co. Soldiers for about three weeks. "I was sent here for learning and to help. I'm actually learning more than welding. I'm learning machinery work and getting better at my job description."
