Alaska Air National Guard Airmen and community partners unload gifts for children in Minto from a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 168th Wing as part of Operation Santa Claus at Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska, Nov. 22, 2022. Operation Santa Claus is the Alaska National Guard's yearly community relations and support program that provides gifts to children in remote communities across the state. With help from the Salvation Army and many volunteers, the program delivered 650 pounds of presents, backpacks, hygiene supplies and books to approximately 65 children in Minto.
