Capt. Luke Tomaso (left) had his Expert Field Medical Badge pinned on by his wife Kayla and his daughter, Evelyn (1) during a ceremony Nov. 18 on Honor Field at the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk, Louisiana.
Tomaso, a veterinarian, with Louisiana Branch Veterinary Services said he would encourage others to challenge themselves and attempt this training.
"Along with the opportunity to set yourself apart," he said. "It's a valuable reminder of how the Garrison mission that we perform supports our mission overseas."
