U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jayden Sanchez, 6th Security Forces Squadron patrolman, performs a five-minute prone float during a marine patrol tryout in Tampa, Florida, Nov. 21, 2022. The 6th SFS marine patrol unit is responsible for securing the waters surrounding the Interbay Peninsula near MacDill Air Force Base. The tryout consisted of a 20-foot high-dive jump, a swim test featuring different strokes and a five-minute prone float. The defenders were tested on their capabilities in the water to ensure they are fit to handle potential search and rescue missions around MacDill.
