PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 18, 2022) Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Jacob Hardesty, from Kenosha, Wisconsin, shoots a shot line as Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Kayla Vixay, from Fort Worth, Texas, assists aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) during a replenishment-at-sea with Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7) while operating in the Philippine Sea, Nov. 18. Milius is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
