Capt. Paul Lanzilotta, commanding officer of the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), greets Gen. Sir Timothy Radford, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe on Ford’s quarterdeck for the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) Commanders’ Conference, Nov. 16, while at anchor in Portsmouth, U.K. The SACEUR Commanders’ Conference attendees and guests received a carrier strike group capabilities brief and tour aboard Ford. The Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group is deployed in the Atlantic Ocean, conducting training and operations alongside NATO Allies and partners to enhance integration for future operations and demonstrate the U.S. Navy’s commitment to a peaceful, stable and conflict-free Atlantic region.
