Hayden Walker, a machine gunner with 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines gives a weapons operation brief on the M240B machine gun while conducting crew-served weapons familiarization training with with members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade during Keen Sword 23, aboard the USS New Orleans LPD-18, in the Pacific Ocean, Nov. 11, 2022. Keen Sword is a biennial training event that exercises the combined capabilities and lethality developed between 3d Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force and the JGSDF.
