Staff Sgt. Daniel Tursi, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), low crawls under the wire at The Sabalauski Air Assault School (TSAAS) Obstacle Course, Fort Campbell, Ky., Nov. 6, 2022, during the Medical Readiness Command - East Best Medic Competition. Competitors were challenged on a number of skills that they would need to utilize in a real casualty care scenario, including their weapons proficiency, water casualty retrieval and survival, day and night land navigation skills, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and physical strength to endure and overcome the obstacles in their way.
