U.S. Marines with Training Company, Marine Corps Security Force Regiment, and British Royal Marines with 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines (43 Cdo RM), eat 24-hour rations together during Tartan Eagle phase II, Otterburn Training Camp, Europe, Oct. 31, 2022. U.S. Marines learned many cultural similarities and differences while interacting with 43 Cdo RM. Exercise Tartan Eagle is an annual bilateral training exercise for the U.S. Marines and British Royal Marines with 43 Cdo RM to travel to each command’s training facilities to exchange tactics, techniques and procedures in fixed site security.
