British Royal Marine Cpl. Elliot Richardson, a platoon weapons instructor class 2 with 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines (43 Cdo RM), observes U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Security Force Regiment (MCSFR) as a range safety officer for the annual combat marksmanship test (ACMT) during Tartan Eagle phase II, Otterburn Training Camp, Europe, Oct. 25, 2022. The ACMT is a requirement for British Royal Marine personnel and MCSFR Marines to further conduct live-fire training together. Exercise Tartan Eagle is an annual bilateral training exercise for the U.S. Marines and British Royal Marines with 43 Cdo RM to travel to each command’s training facilities to exchange tactics, techniques and procedures in fixed site security.
