U.S. Soldiers assigned to 3rd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division (1AD CAB), utilize UH-60 Black Hawks in order to support U.S. Soldiers assigned to Bravo Battery, Death Dealers, 2nd Battalion, 174th Air Defense Artillery Regiment (2-174 ADA) both operationally controlled by 1st Infantry Division (1 ID), conduct platoon tracking operations during Operation Close Encounters field training exercise at Camp Ādaži, Latvia, Nov. 9, 2022. The 2-174 ADA and 1AD CAB is among other units proudly working alongside 1 ID, NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
