The Minnesota National Guard welcomes Air Force Command Chief Master Sgt. Lisa Erikson as the new Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) during a Change of Responsibility ceremony in St. Paul, Minn, on Nov. 10, 2022. She assumes the duties from the outgoing CSEL, Army Command Sgt. Maj. Brian Soper, and will serve as the first Air Force member and second female to hold this position since the inception of the Minnesota National Guard 166 years ago. The CSEL is an advisor to the Guard’s adjutant general and communicates the commander’s directives to the enlisted service members while also serving as the senior representative for enlisted views and concerns.
