DETROIT, Mich. - A soldier holds the flag for the national anthem ceremony during the Detroit Pistons military appreciation event at Little Caesars arena on Nov. 7, 2022. (Army Reserve photo by Spc. Isaac Copeland, 220th Public Affairs Detachment).
The Detroit Pistons honor the service of our veterans at the Military Appreciation (Hoops for Troops) game in honor of Veterans Day. Veterans Day is a way to say thank you to all those who have served with the highest appreciation. Those who have risked their lives making sacrifices for their country and families. The expression of gratitude and patriotism is shown at this time to all the soldiers who have served for the United States of America.
