Four U.S. Air Force pararescuemen, assigned to the 52nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron (ERQS), maneuver their parachutes after jumping out of an HH-60G Pave Hawk assigned to the 46th ERQS at an undisclosed location, Oct. 18, 2022. This was the first time the 1st Expeditionary Rescue Group (ERQG) personnel conducted jumps at this location, enabling forces to practice their personnel recovery mission. The primary mission of the 1st ERQG is to conduct day or night personnel recovery operations into hostile environments to recover isolated personnel during conflict. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech.
