U.S. Air Force Col. Mona Alexander, 87th Air Base Wing vice commander, is joined by her family during a farewell tour of the base before retirement at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. on June 6, 2020. During her career, Alexander has held numerous squadron leadership positions, commanded the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, and has served in a variety of positions at the wing and combatant command levels. Alexander is a command pilot with over 4,000 flight hours including over 680 combat hours and over 240 combat support hours.
