Sgt. Maj. Antonio Gonzalez is the operations sergeant major for the Mission Command Training Program. His actions in Afghanistan in 2007 would result in the Silver Star, the third-highest award for valor in the U.S. Army. Gonzalez enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1996, following graduation from Kansas State University, where he was also on the football team.
