SEA OF JAPAN (Oct. 27, 2022) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Jasmanny Larenas-Feijoo, from Bloomfield, New Jersey, fires an M4 rifle on the flight deck during a crew serve gun shoot aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65), Oct. 27. Benfold is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
