U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Lucas Cook, a field radio operator assigned to 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, observes aircraft during Marine Forces Reserve Tactical Air Control Party Fire Exercise 23-1 at Rattlesnake Range, Camp Shelby, Mississippi, Oct. 27, 2022. Aircraft from 2nd and 4th Marine Aircraft Wings provided live and simulated close air support during the exercise. The purpose of TACP FIREX 23-1 is to maintain joint fires proficiency and readiness to support the total force. Cook is a native of Tampa, Florida and attended Countryside High School.
