221015-N-LI114-1301 MANILA, Philippines (Oct. 15, 2022) Sailors assigned to the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), and the guided-missile cruiser, USS Chancellorsville (CG 62), pose for a group photo with the children and staff of Gentle Hands Orphanage in Manila, Philippines, Oct. 15. During the volunteer event, Sailors played games and created hand-drawn paintings with over 100 children. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of CSG 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
