Runners participate in the inaugural Always Ready 5K, Oct. 15, 2022, during the on-base segment at Training Center Cpae May.
The race was the first race sponsored by the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation and is designed to bring awareness and support of the Coast Guard throughout Cape May County.
Cape May County was designated as an official Coast Guard Community in 2015 and was recertified in 2021 for its effort in supporting the service's workforce and families.
