RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany (Sep. 23, 2022) Equipment Operator 3rd Class Tyler Smith and Builder 3rd Class Gunner Johnson, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11, operates an excavator to remove debris from an 8’ x 8’ crater in preparation for flowable fill for repairs. NMCB-11 participated in Rapid Airfield Damage Repair (R-ADR) Mission Essential Equipment Training (MEET), which allowed them to exercise mission essential Required Operational Capabilities (ROC), on board Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Sep. 23, 2022. NMCB-11 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. Sixth and Seventh Fleet areas of operation.
