U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Joseph Medina, UH-60M Black Hawk Instructor Pilot and Safety Officer for Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment, Assault Helicopter Battalion, attached to 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, conducts a Forward Arming Refuel Point certification with fuelers of the 449th Aviation Support Battalion, 36th CAB, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Sept. 24, 2022. Medina and his crew surveyed the FARP and went over the required standards of the certification with the refueling team. The certification of the FARP is essential to mission readiness as microorganisms can contaminate the fuel and damage the UH-60M Black Hawk. 36th CAB, mobilized as Task Force Mustang, currently supports the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve mission across the Middle East.
