U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Dan Calderon, medic and U.S. Army Sgt. Daniel Black, mountaineer, assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) purchase fruit from local villagers at Arin Community School, East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea on Sep. 02 2022. The investigation team visited multiple areas across the mountainous East Sepik Province in hopes of recovering missing U.S. service members lost during World War II.
