Derrick Stein, an aircraft maintenance data specialist assigned to the Aviation Combat Element, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), reunites with his family during a deployment homecoming aboard Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, Oct. 9, 2022. Marines and Sailors assigned to the 22nd MEU returned home after completing a seven-month deployment with the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group in the U.S. Naval Sixth Fleet area of operations.
