U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kady Carlson, a heavy equipment mechanic with Combat Logistics Company 36, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, performs a stock list 3 check as part of the offload preparation party on the United States Naval Ship Dahl (T-AKR 312) during exercise Resolute Dragon 22 off the coast of Northern Japan, on Sept. 24, 2022. During maritime pre-positioning force offloads, offload preparation parties are tasked with the maintenance of the equipment to ensure all equipment is mission capable ahead of the offload. Resolute Dragon 22 is an annual exercise designed to strengthen the defensive capabilities of the U.S.-Japan alliance by exercising integrated command and control, targeting, combined arms, and maneuver across multiple domains.
