Sgt. Major Matt Williams a Medal of Honor recipient meets with a group of future Soldiers after they finish a GORUCK Event hosted by Special Operation Recruiting Battalion during a Special Forces Association Convention (SFACON), where 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Green Berets, Soldiers and retirees attended a four-day event held from September 21-24, 2022, in the Colorado Springs area including Fort Carson. GORUCK Events are multiple activities that are endurance based and led by current and former operators and those cadres help build a bridge between civilian and military worlds.
