Local employee, Ozan Guenes from the General Support Center-Europe, headquartered in Kaiserslautern, drives a nail into a wheel chock. The GSC-E picked up vehicles from the 596th Maintenace Company on the U.S. Army Depot in Darmstadt Germany, Dec. 5, 2007. The GSC-E refurbishes wheeled and tracked vehicles and re-issues the equipment. Darmstadt facilities will be closed by October 2008 so units are preparing to move or close.
