Key personnel from Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point attend the F-35 Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) fourth semi-annual meeting, Cherry Point Inn, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, Sept. 21-22, 2022. The two-day conference allowed stakeholders from the air station, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Lockheed Martin, Pratt and Whitney, Headquarters Marine Corps, and Joint Program Office to assemble and identify site-specific activation requirements to allow the F-35 Lightning II to become operational at the installation.
