Lt. Gen. Stephen N. On Aug. 15, 2022, the WSOC’s mission responsibility transferred from the U.S. Army’s 53rd Signal Battalion to the U.S. Space Force’s Space Operations Command, under Space Delta 8’s 53rd Space Operations Squadron.
