U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jonathan Ritter, an automotive maintenance technician with II Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Innovation Campus, speaks with members of the Defense Science Study Group (DSSG) about additive manufacturing during their visit on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 19, 2022. Members of the DSSG include science and engineering academia from across the United States, and is a program funded by Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and directed by the non-profit, Institute for Defense Analyses. During their visit, the members received a tour of various subordinate II MEF units to gain a better understanding of Marine Corps organization, capabilities, and operations.
