    3-142nd AHB Trains Dust Landings in Kuwait

    U.S. Army Spc. Bryant Sanchez, a Winter Haven, FL, native and crew chief for Bravo Company, 3-142nd Assault Helicopter Battalion, based out of Ronkonkoma, NY, clears the area around a UH-60M Black Hawk at a dusty landing zone in the vicinity of Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Sept. 16, 2022. Crew chiefs also perform the day-to-day maintenance required to keep aircraft safe to fly. 3-142nd AHB, attached to 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, currently supports the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve mission to advise, assist, and enable partnered forces in the enduring defeat of Da'esh, the common Arabic term for IS or ISIS, within designated areas of Iraq and Syria.
