U.S. Marines assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force UNITAS and Uruguayan marines walk across the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) during helicopter embarkation operations off the coast of Brazil, Sept. 14, 2022. Marines were practicing boarding and exiting a helicopter aboard a ship during exercise UNITAS LXIII. UNITAS develops and sustains relationships that improve the capacity of our remerging and enduring maritime partners to achieve common objectives.
