Brig. Gen. Len "Loni" Anderson, aft center, commanding general of 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, and Contra-Almirante Marcelo Guimarães Dias (Rear Adm. Brazilian Marine Corps), aft right, commander of Brazil’s Amphibious Division, observe U.S. Marines from Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, alongside their Brazilian Marine counterparts, conduct Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) training at Ilha do Governador, Rio de Janeiro, Sept. 6, 2022. Infantry Marines from both nations train together to keep their skills, tactics, techniques, procedures, and partnerships sharp throughout UNITAS LXIII. UNITAS, throughout its 63 iterations, has proven to develop and sustain relationships that improve the capacity of our reemerging and enduring maritime partners to achieve common objectives.
