The 5-17 Air Cavalry Squadron conducted its first spur ride since the unit was activated in May from September 1-2, 2022. Soldiers assembled and disassembled multiple types of small arms including the M4A1, M249 and M17 weapon platforms to show proficiency in their use of assigned weapon systems.
