An automated turret controlled by Tactical Training and Exercise Control Group, is primed to counter an offensive attack by 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, during Adversary Force Exercise 3-22 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, April 26, 2022. During each Service-Level Training Exercise, the adversary force is provided with advanced equipment from the Office of Naval Research to test emerging technology for effectiveness in the multi-domain, force-on-force environment.
