Glider pilots from various flying clubs in Rheinland-Pfalz come together for a day filled with tours at Ramstein Air Base, Sept. 9, 2022, during a Mid-Air Collision Avoidance Meeting. The event consisted of a tour of C-21 and C-130J Hercules aircraft, ground control approach facility and air traffic control tower. During the event, the glider pilots were able to better understand American procedures and ask questions in regards to how American and German operations differ.
