PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug 4, 2022) –Electronics Technician (ET) 3rd Class Brianna Fitzgerald troubleshoots electronic equipment aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), August 4. An ET is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and management of sophisticated electronic equipment, including command and control systems, shipboard weapons, guidance and fire-control systems. John P. Murtha, part of amphibious squadron (CPR) SEVEN, along with 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is currently underway conducting integrated training in U.S. 3rd Fleet to prepare for an upcoming deployment.
